Project overview

MV Wilson Mosel arrived in Scrabster Harbour on the 6th March carrying  a stator, rotor and cooler boxes for the Thurso South Substation.  This is one of the 2 shipments coming to Scrabster.

On this lift we used our 700t Liebherr crane fitted with a spreader beam, loading one unit direct to transport and the other heavy unit onto the quayside. The other 3 units were lifted with a 70t crane.
