Hugh Simpson (Contractors) Ltd. lifted gearbox at Black Law Windfarm (North Lanarkshire).

Black Law Windfarm is one of the largest windfarms in the UK and our 500t crane team has been returning to the site to carry out lifting operations as part of the maintenance and repairs programme.

Our approach

• Arriving on site and rigging the 500 tonne mobile crane.
• Working in liaison with the Scottish Power Renewables, who carried out the slinging and directing crane movement.
