Hugh Simpson (Contractors) Ltd. discharged in total 1586 tonnes of bulk ground lime from a Marine Vessel Eems Delta, which arrived in Wick harbour on Sunday. We operated two material handlers with clamshell bucket attachments. Lime was loaded directly into lorries, which then transported it to the lime shed.

Our approach

• Material handlers were set up as identified by the operations supervisor.
• Both teams operated independently to discharge the lime directly into lorries.
• Lorries transported and unloaded limestone into the lime shed.
